Back in October, I found myself walking into the Holistic Apothecary with a broken heart and a broken spirit. I had spent the week filled with stress and tears, and the pain just kept getting greater. Phyllis took me in with open arms (literally, the hugs were a huge help) and found exactly what I needed to mend. She even insisted that I call her later in the day to let her know how I was doing. Its not every day that one can walk into a store, broken, and feel that people actually care about your well-being. The remedies you offered me got through one of the most difficult times of my life, I can never thank you enough. I have been coming to this shop for the past year – usually every few months or so. Started off with a herniated L5 disk, possible L4 too. This started my need for pain pills. I never abused them. I only took them when I really needed them. Since 1991 I have numerous herniated disks in my lower and middle of my back. A couple of years ago I was told that I had more damaged disks in my neck becauce the doctor told me that I had degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis too in the lower back. This year I was haveing a lot of pain from my neck, shoulders, back and knees. Now I am told that I have fibromyalgia. I thought great! I will be living on pain pills for the rest of my life. I never liked the way they made me feel. I am so happy that I met you. I followed your directions for the holistic products you suggested. I have not had the need to take any pain medication since. He was taking three different prescriptions and was getting completely dehydrated. While playing sports he would cramp up and become wiped out. My son is taking ALJ tablets and Sinus Tone and seems to be allergy free in the last four months. He hasn't had one sinus infection either. My son and I are so happy he is no longer on medication. As you know, Sherry’s passing has been very difficult on us all on so many levels. Thanks to you and my friends at Holistic-Apothecary I have learned to heal my heart, body and soul. Here it goes… A very close friend of Sherry’s misses her very much, but believes that Sherry is one of her guardian angels. She talks to Sherry all the time and is always asking her to guide her or someone she knows in need. About a month or so ago she called upon Sherry to help a family friend who is dying and is coming up on the last few days of his life. She was hoping that in some way Sherry would be able to make his passing easier on him. Several days passed and she received a phone call from her son saying he had an amazing story to tell her. He proceeded to tell her that he was visiting their dying friend and their friend was telling her son that he was talking to Sherry the night before. Sherry had come to him in a dream and told him not to worry and it was okay to “let go.” She continued to explain to him in his dream that everyone he will be leaving behind will be taken care of and he will be coming to a better place. Sherry also revealed details to him as to how she passed away and what really happened on the morning of July 16, 2008. There were things that their friend knew that only Sherry’s family knew and they were details that were not shared with anyone outside of the immediate family. So, my dearest Phyllis, you were right when you told me the cause of Sherry’s death. She wanted us to know the correct details and to give us some closure.
